Decentralisation Secretariat Team and the Ministry of Local Government staff will visit six (6) WDCs in Kafue District to commemorate the  Local Goverment week. The WDCs in Kafue District have raised a lot chickens with support from Kafue Council. In return, the WDCs have also raised more funds to assist the council to pay salarie.

Ten (10) WDCs were awarded for their hard work amounting to K20,000 by the Secretary to the Cabinet
